Mentionlytics is a growing start-up company that is well-known worldwide for its award-winning SaaS platform in brand monitoring and social media analytics.

We are looking for a Content Writing Intern, that will collaborate with our content team to develop unique long-form content for our blog. This internship is a great opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in content writing, SEO, and digital marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Content Writing: Write long-form (2000+ words) original articles for the Mentionlytics blog on topics related to digital marketing, brand monitoring, and social media analytics.
  • Attention to detail: You should be able to deliver high-quality text and focus on grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure to produce error-free content. AI-generated content is not acceptable.
  • Research: Investigate industry-related topics to produce well-informed content. You will be expected to gather information from reliable sources, understand the target audience’s needs, and incorporate relevant data into your writing.
  • Additional Writing: It is possible to assist in creating promotional posts, website content, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
  • SEO Optimization: Apply SEO techniques based on given instructions to ensure content is optimized for search engines.
  • Industry Trends: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and content writing.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with the content team and improve based on constructive feedback.

Requirements

  • Educational Background in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, English, or Related Fields
  • Excellent knowledge of English writing
  • Writing style that is easily readable yet professional and insightful
  • Writing Portfolio (if applicable)
  • Ability to manage your time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • A strong desire to learn and improve continuously

Nice-to-have but not required

  • Relevant Coursework or Certifications in Content Writing or Digital Marketing
  • Experience with writing blog content
  • Experience with topic research and long-form writing
  • Basic SEO Knowledge: Familiarity with SEO principles and their application in content marketing
  • Experience with CMS, like WordPress and Analytics (GA4, GSC)
  • Knowledge of other languages ​​(e.g. Spanish)
