Community Manager
Mentionlytics is a growing start-up company, well known worldwide for its award-winning SaaS product in the field of Brand Monitoring / Social Media Analytics.
We are looking for a qualified Community Manager for part-time collaboration (initially) to join our marketing team! We are expecting you to be experienced in social media, PR and promotional web events. Our ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and is able to develop engaging content. You should be a ‘people person’ with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community. Ultimately, you should be able to act as the face and voice of our brand and manage all community communications.
Even if you don’t have a degree yet, but you are an undergraduate or postgraduate student, with a passion for social media and PR, we would like to meet you!
Responsibilities
- Represent our brand in Social Media (e.g. groups, quora, reddit, twitter etc) and provide greater exposure for the Mentionlytics
- Propose, plan and implement social media and communication campaigns and strategies
- Social Selling (e.g. responding to relevant queries on Twitter and other social media, discovering and handling leads)
- Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews
- Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
- Coordinate with Marketing team to ensure brand consistency
- Liaise with Development and Sales departments to stay updated on our new features
- Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals, journalists and influencers
- Monitor, track and report on feedback and online reviews
- Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
- Organize and manage events to boost brand awareness
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a community manager or similar role
- Experience planning and launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)
- Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics / KPIs (e.g. repeat attendance at events)
- Hands on experience with social media management for brands
- Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal and presentations skills
- Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
- Attention to detail, ability to multitask, critical-thinker and problem-solver
- BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
